I have a passion for embracing a character's internal and external life, striving to find and expose their beauty & ugliness, to tell the most compelling story. This is achieved by listening and working collaboratively with directors & writers, and studying up.
Early beginnings: I started out acting in skits at my local church and realized how wonderful it is to live other people's life's on stage, discovered the challenge of telling a story with limited amounts of time, and am still enthralled with story telling.
Favorite Role/Characters: I love playing roles where the character is at first mis-judged by the audience. Also, I respond to awkward, social outcast types. There is a beauty & ugliness in every person. The more roles I play, the more I see this.
Poets I love: Antonio Machado, T.S. Eliot, many more too.
Favorite thing to do on a day off: Sit in a coffee shop and talk with friends. Browsing through bookstores.
Favorite Quote: "Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt- marvelous error!- that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures." -Antonio Machado
